Harriet

Westie

The lovely 6y.o(approx) Westie Harriet joined us recently as an unclaimed stray. This poor girl arrived in terrible condition and had obviously been suffering for some time. We believe she's been used for breeding and kept in less than ideal conditions.

Harriet is a very timid girl and fears people, she is slowly gaining trust around us but she does have a long way to go. She absolutely loves the company of other dogs and will require a confident resident dog in her new home to follow and learn from. She can be rehomed with cats.

Harriet isn't yet confident enough to walk on a lead, this is something that will need to be built up slowly. She will be happy enough pottering around the garden for the time being.

Harriet is looking for a quiet home with no young children, she'd suit a patient person to show her that not all humans are bad, she will need time to settle in to her new surrounding and adjust to home life, something we believe she's never been used to.

There must be a kind hearted person out there willing to give this gentle girl a chance
