Please meet the adorable little Pickles who is yet another unclaimed stray. Pickles was in shocking condition when she arrived, she had untreated mange which had left her with open sores, extremely hot inflamed skin and she’d also lost most of her hair. She had obviously been suffering for some time. Fast forward a few weeks and her skin has been treated and has healed well, she is now much more comfortable and her hair is starting to grow back. She won’t need any further treatment moving forward.

Pickles is a tiny rough coated Jrt who’s around 3y.o. She’s the most loving, excitable little soul who adores humans.

She wriggles on her belly as soon as she sees anyone and you just can’t resist loving her  

We have introduced Pickles to dogs here and we must admit at first she was absolutely terrified, she reacts by barking but not aggressively just out of sheer terror. She has since made friends with Max and Ellie which are our 2 calm, confident dogs but is very unsure around boisterous dogs that get too close. So she would either suit a home with a very calm, respectful dog or she really wouldn’t mind being an only dog where she could have her humans all to herself!!

Pickles has been learning to walk on a lead, she is getting it slowly! She travels well in the car and settles quietly for the journey.

Pickles would love to be the centre of someone’s world, she just wants to be loved as that’s something she’s never had
