Beautiful Scarlet is finally ready for her new home, after 10 long months of rehabilitation and and we are finally on top of her chronic ear infections, the vet is now happy for her to start looking for her forever family.

Many of you will remember Scarlet as one of the 200 dogs rescues from one of the worst puppy farms we’ve ever seen, she was kept in horrific conditions and the mental scars will unfortunately last forever. But she has come such a long way thanks to her very patient foster. Scarlet is now much more confident, she’s still timid of strangers until she gets to know you but she’s certainly a different dog to the one I carried out of that awful place last year.

Scarlet is estimated at around 4y.o, she currently lives with another dog and MUST be rehomed with at least one other resident dog. Scarlet has not lived with cats but I can’t see any reason why she wouldn’t accept a cat.

She will need a quiet home, no young children and a patient family who will let her get to know you in her own time, once she does accept you you’ll have a friend for life!

Scarlet walks well on the lead, she will still get nervous in busy, built up areas but again her confidence will keep growing, she would suit a home where she isn’t left for overly long periods. Scarlet is house trained and isn’t destructive.

Scarlet has suffered the worst abuse in her short life and deserves the best home, once you meet her she really will melt your heart.
