Chelsea arrived with us a few months ago, she was found straying on the mountain where it looks likely that she’d been dumped. It took some time to catch her but eventually she was caught and brought to us. Unsurprisingly she was never claimed.

Chelsea has taken some time to trust humans, she was a very timid girl when she arrived and it’s taken months to get her confident enough to come out of kennel and into our enclosed field. She’s not yet happily walking on a lead but we’re definitely heading in the right direction! Her best friend Chase is definitely helping to show her the way, you won’t see one without the other.

It would be lovely if they were rehomed together but I do understand rehoming one large black dog is a big ask so I doubt we’ll find someone to adopt the 2. But if they aren’t rehomed together Chelsea MUST be rehomed with a confident resident dog.

Chelsea is dog friendly, she’s very calm around dogs, she’s actually a very calm dog in general! She has a very sweet nature and loves spending time with the humans she now trusts. She’d benefit from a calm home with someone willing to give her time to come out of her shell and bond in her own time.

Chelsea is around 2y.o and a very small, broken coated Lurcher, she’s probably got Staffie in there somewhere as you can see by her face  She can be rehomed with teenagers and above and she’s not met cats.

Chelsea has come so far in our care but she now needs a home to further her progress. We just know that in the right home she’ll blossom into the most perfect companion
