Hendrik arrived with us a few months ago as an unclaimed stray. He is a very proud, handsome boy who has a temperament to die for.

He is a big 4y.o GSD who absolutely adores everyone he meets and is probably one of the friendliest GSD's we've ever met!

Hendrik is very strong on the lead, he does walk better on a halti but he does pull, this will need continued training and a strong handler!!

He is super intelligent just as you'd expect and has a very trainable attitude. He enjoys nothing more than his off lead time in our secure field where he has a passion for tennis balls and how many he can fit in his mouth at one time.....3 is the current record!

He is also an avid swimmer and enjoys a bit of scuba diving.....odd but each to their own we say!! His love of water also stretches to his water bowl which he is inclined to have a dip in much to our dismay, thankfully he doesn't do this in his bedroom just in his outside run!!

Hendrik ignores dogs on his walk, he is not reactive in any way. He has not met cats here and can be rehomed with older children just because of his size. He travels well in the car and settles with no bother.

Hendrik is a people dog, he is looking for someone to share his life with and he'll repay you with endless love. He will make the most loyal companion and just needs that second chance that he deserves
