Huxley

Welsh foxhound x collie

Well it's finally time to find Athena's babies homes of their own. They are now around 12 weeks old and are growing like weeds! For those who don't know their story mum Athena was found living rough on a farm which she had done for the last 4 years. No one had ever been able to catch her so she had been fending for herself for all those years. But then she appeared to have a litter which were born in the barn so trapping her was now essential. So eventually she was caught along with her 9 little ones and the rest as they say is history!! I will be introducing them all over the next few days.

First up is Huxley a beautiful Welsh Foxhound cross Collie. Despite their difficult start in life Huxley is a beautiful confident little boy who is typical of a pup of that age! He is cheeky, playful and full of beans! It's not safe to leave anything on the floor as he we will claim it as his! He enjoys playing with his toys and playing tug of war with his siblings!

To anyone interested in any of these little ones please research both breeds, they are going to be energetic and would make great agility or canicross dogs once fully grown. They will need active homes and won't suit anyone wanting a lap dog!

We ask that all dogs attend puppy classes to help with socialisation and basic training.

They will be leaving on a neutering contract.

They can be rehomed with children over 4y.o as long as you are mindful that they currently have teeth like little pins and aren't afraid to use them!!!! If your child is of a delicate nature please do not apply!

All the pups can all live with other dogs and cats.

To ensure all applications are processed correctly, please complete the online application form. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept applications via telephone, email, or social media.
