Shimmer like so many others, arrived with us as an unclaimed stray. This poor girl was a sorry sight, she had numerous cuts all over and had a gash on her shoulder that had been stitched. She also had some sort of trauma to her mouth which resulted in her having her canine tooth removed due to the damage. But despite all that Shimmers tail hasn't stopped wagging since the day she arrived, testament to her very forgiving nature

Shimmer is a middle age/older Lurcher that has the most amazing temperament.

She is super confident and friendly and loves everyone she meets. She is also dog friendly and mixes well with a variety of different dogs on and off lead. She won't be rehomed with cats. She can also be rehomed with children over 6y.o.

Shimmer walks beautifully on the lead and loves nothing more than her daily zoomies in our secure field!!

She travels well in the car and just curls up and goes to sleep.

We can't stress enough what a fabulous girl Shimmer is, she will shower you with affection and just wants to please.

She would happily slot in with family life and you really would have a friend for life if you choose to adopt her.
