Five of our little brood have already found their forever homes and are settling in beautifully… which leaves four still patiently waiting for their turn including this special girl.

Introducing Soraya, a stunning Welsh Foxhound x Collie (we think!) who is now 16 weeks old. She had a very humble start to life, born in a barn where she spent her first five weeks. Her mum, Athena, had been living rough in the area for 4–5 years, somehow avoiding capture all that time. Once we became aware of her situation, she was safely trapped along with her little ones and thankfully, that difficult chapter is now firmly behind them.

Soraya has blossomed into a confident, cheeky, and incredibly affectionate young girl who absolutely loves life. She’s curious about everything, always up for an adventure, and loves learning new things. She is confident around other dogs, she’s respectful, playful, and quick to take correction from older companions. She could happily live as an only dog soaking up all the attention, or alongside other dogs, and she could also share her home with a confident cat. Due to her bouncy nature, any children would need to be aged 6 or over.

She’s looking for an active home where she can truly thrive. As she grows, Soraya would make a brilliant partner for adventures like running, mantrailing, canicross, or long countryside walks. True to her hound roots, her nose is always to the ground taking in the world around her! She loves nothing more than a good run around with her friends, followed by flopping down at your feet for a well earned snooze. When the day winds down, her softer side shines through and she’s more than happy to curl up beside you for a cuddle on the sofa.

Soraya will need to attend puppy training classes and will be rehomed on a neutering contract. Her mum is a large dog and Soraya is already showing signs she’ll follow suit…hopefully she’ll grow into her huge feet!! Like any youngster, she’ll also need a home ready for a bit of ‘p*ppy chaos’ she has a particular talent for hoovering up anything left within reach!

Soraya is one of those dogs who will give you her whole heart, she just needs someone willing to give her that chance.
