Ziggy
Bull lurhcer
This handsome Bull Lurcher arrived with us as an unclaimed stray. As soon as we posted Ziggy his old owner recognised him and got in touch. Ziggy had come from a much loved family, but unfortunately due to circumstances beyond their control they’d had to rehome him. The next thing they knew he was posted by us, safe in rescue. But he looked very different to the Ziggy they’d rehomed, he had some pretty nasty scarring mainly to his face but also to the rest of his body. We will never know what exactly happened to him in the months after he was rehomed and when he was picked up as a stray by us at WWP, but it’s obvious he fell into the wrong hands.
Ziggy wasn’t only scarred but he was also extremely underweight, but despite his ordeal he remained a lovable dog who still adored people and his tail never stops wagging
Fast forward a few months and he looks so much better. He is such a friendly character who just loves spending time with people.
Ziggy is also dog friendly once he’s been slowly introduced, he is a large boy so would be better suited to medium to large dogs. He is not cat tested. He has lived with children and can be rehomed with children over 8y.o, simply because of his size!
Ziggy is strong on a lead, so will require further training! He loves the car and just hops in eagerly awaiting the journey!! He loves chasing a ball and having zoomies in our enclosed field, he can certainly move with those long legs!!
Ziggy is now ready to find his forever home, we know he was a super family pet before coming to us so we're sure he’ll just slot back in if he’s given the chance.
So please someone give this beautiful soul his second chance at his happy ever after
